Can you take another picture of this worn-out winter scene
(It's what you make of it)
From where you've been
Do you slowly reminisce of when the leaves were on the trees
(It's what you make of it)
Woah-oh
I think (I think)
We'd be better if you cared, better if you cared
And I think (I think)
Were you ever even there
You never...
I'm counting back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
From a time when you never would've changed your ways
Back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
When the world that we made was gonna stay the same
Let the good things go
Let your heart stay young
Tell the outside no
Never turn and run
Count back from the better days
And let go
Just let go
Can you fake it for a second that I'm everything you need
(It's what you take from it)
Like you are for me
It's the only condescension that I ever want on me
(It's what you take from it)
Woah-oh
I think (I think)
It'd be better if you left, better if you left
And I hope (I hope)
That we never meet again
Cause I'm counting...
I'm counting back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
From a time when you never would've changed your ways
Back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
When the world that we made was gonna stay the same
Let the good things go
Let your heart stay young
Tell the outside no
Never turn and run
Count back from the better days
And let go
Just let go
And I know that it still hurts
It's tough to face up to those demons
But I know that it can work
If you look back on what's better
I'm counting back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
From a time when you never would've changed your ways
Back from the better days
(Back from the better days)
When the world that we made was gonna stay the same
Let the good things go
Let your heart stay young
Tell the outside no
Never turn and run
Count back from the better days
Can't let go...
Won't let go...
This is great ambient music, which has kept me going through some not so great stuff. Each album in The Solution seems to be working on something different, and for this one the rhythm seems to be the centre of attention. I can't remember many tracks from the other two albums really having any beats, while in this one most do, and they're great. I really love the ramping up and use of what sounds like a full drum kit in track 3 VikingSchism
